Peaceful forest location with direct access to walking trails and frequent sightings of wild ponies and deer.

Dog-friendly policy includes a welcome pack with bed, bowl, treats, and toys.

Complimentary welcome drink for arriving guests.

Cons

Some rooms are compact and feature dark decor, which may feel small for some guests.

“The recent refurbishment has transformed this property into a country house gem, particularly noticeable in the comfortable rooms and updated bathrooms. Its peaceful New Forest location, complete with roaming ponies and excellent walking routes, is a significant draw, and the food, especially breakfast, consistently impresses. Service here is notably warm and attentive, making for a thoroughly pleasant stay.”
